What does your role look like on our wedding day?

Coming organized and prepared for your wedding allows me to capture the unscripted, natural moments as they unfold. I’ll work with you or your planner to finalize your timeline about 8 weeks ahead of your wedding. I also work with you to determine the list of family shots and details that must be captured. Doing this, you’re able to relax and be fully present on your wedding day, knowing that I have it all covered! Most importantly, we’ll keep things FUN!

 

Does being a “Natual Light Photographer” mean that you don’t shoot at night?

I LOVE natural light and we’ll take advantage of it while we can. That being said — some very important moments of your wedding may happen after the sun goes down! I always bring flash lighting equipment with me to continue shooting after sunset.

 

Do you need a second shooter?

I shoot both with and without second shooters. It can be especially helpful to have the extra hands to capture moments from other vantage points or when scheduling requires us to be in two places at once.

 

Where do we see our images and how long does it take?

I personally color correct each and every image (generally 90-120 photos per hour you’ve hired me). Within 5 weeks I’ll provide you a link to a private digital gallery. You can share this with friends and family, download the high-resolution images or order prints directly from this gallery. My clients also receive print and personal use rights to the images I deliver — meaning you can, but don’t have to order prints through me.

 

Do you have business insurance?

Absolutely. Many venues require that I am fully insured.

 

What kind of equipment do you use? Do you bring backup gear with you?

I use professional full-frame Canon DSLRs and lenses. I shoot all photos in RAW file format — for the best image quality and post-processing flexibility — and always carry backup gear with me throughout your wedding day.

 

Do you travel for weddings?

YES. I’m based in New England but frequently travel across the US and internationally. Shoot me a message and we can chat details about traveling to your wedding.

 

How far in advance should we book you?

Wedding photographers are generally booked 9-15 months out — especially for busy months like June, September and October. I’m occasionally booked only a few months out, so it’s always worth reaching out to check for availability!

 

What do I need to book you?

A signed contract and $1000 retainer secures your date!
