Robyn and Karim, residents of the charming Back Bay neighborhood, were certain about their dream of having a Boston wedding. It didn’t take long for them to discover their perfect match: The Lenox Hotel, a perfect choice for their winter city wedding. And it’s no wonder they were drawn to it—the hotel exudes a rich historical charm, elegant architecture, and captivating aesthetics.
After meeting during their senior year of college, years of dating long distance, political campaigns, and law school – these two couldn’t wait to officially be husband and wife! The infectious smile on both of their faces the entire day says it all!
Boston Winter Wedding Photography
The weather for Robyn and Karim’s March wedding could have gone in several different directions. From the possibility of snow to the possibility of rain, however, it turned out to be the most beautiful spring-feeling day (even if it was still technically winter)!
Karim and his groomsmen got ready at the couple’s nearby condo, while Robyn got ready at the Lenox Hotel itself. Karim and his groomsmen walked through Back Bay to make it to the hotel in time for him to share a first look with Robyn up on the hotel’s rooftop! The views from above are unbeatable — we used the rooftop for their first set of portraits as well as their private vow exchange.
Afterward, we gathered the wedding party to walk to Comm Ave for their own portraits. I loved the joy and great energy from the group as we walked the city streets. It made for some great candid photos! Just as it began to rain, we made our way to our final stop for portraits — the Boston Public Library. We took portraits at our favorite library photo spots before it was time to return to The Lenox for their ceremony!
The Lenox Hotel Winter Wedding
Robyn and Karim’s ceremony and reception took place in the elegant and ornate Dome Room of the hotel. The ornate dome marking the middle of the space is absolutely gorgeous! The ballroom was beautifully decorated with white and pink florals by Yvette Frazier’s Floral Design. The reception kicked off with Robyn and Karim’s first dance, toasts, and parent dances before enjoying a delicious meal and dancing! Congratulations to this wonderful couple!
