Row 34 Rehearsal Dinner in Boston

Long table cheers'ing their drinks

Scenes from Alyssa and Andrew’s Row 34 rehearsal dinner in Boston, the day before their wedding at the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) Boston. Row 34 combined many aspects on Alyssa and Andrew’s checklist — a setting in the city, stellar cuisine, and proper space for an intimate meal with room for other guests to join later in the evening for welcome drinks.

Rehearsal Dinner Photo Coverage

Nothing sets the scene for a wedding weekend quite like photo coverage of the rehearsal dinner! While they are oftentimes more casual than the wedding day itself, it is always such a special experience to document these gatherings for my couples! Your rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks are really the kick-off events to your full wedding weekend. Everyone comes together for the first time, shares lots of happy hugs and smiles as everyone catches up a bit, and then spends the evening alongside your other closest guests in a more intimate setting! Compared to the rush of time that a wedding day can be, I’ve come to love the opportunity that rehearsal dinners give you to spend more intentional time with your closest guests.

Photo coverage of these pre-events naturally helps you to preserve those memories and this time together. And further, it helps your guests to feel more at ease with the photo team and process on wedding day! Any photo jitters from parents, siblings, or close friends are released, and everyone is more relaxed for your wedding photos!

Group Gatherings at Row 34

The space for this Row 34 rehearsal dinner was perfect for Alyssa and Andrew’s guests! Conveniently located in Seaport and near most guests’ accommodations, Row 34 also delivered some of the Boston area’s best seafood.

Alyssa and Andrew dined with their closest family and friends at Row 34, outside on their covered patio. Guests mingled over cocktails as others arrived — there was no shortage of happy hugs and welcomes amongst the group! The group eventually found their way to their seats, along one long table below the patio’s bistro lights. Toasts were given from both sides of the family and friends alike! To cap off the meal, the Row 34 team served espresso martinis alongside a selection of desserts.

Once the meal concluded, other guests were invited to join the group at Row 34 — for the official wedding welcome party! Enjoy some highlights from Alyssa and Andrew’s rehearsal dinner, below.
