Morgan and Marc’s fall wedding at The Crane Estate in Ipswich, MA was incredibly elegant and timeliness! This sweet couple wanted to ensure their day felt authentic and joyous from start to finish with a classic design throughout all of the decor. With the help of Katydyd Events, that is exactly what they got!
Boston’s North Shore Estate Wedding Venue
Morgan and Marc rented out the Garrison Inn in Newburyport for the weekend with their wedding party and closest family members. This allowed us to take over the iconic Ladyfingers Tea Room for many of Morgan’s getting-ready moments. The lighting in that room is absolutely gorgeous so we made sure to get photos with her bridesmaids and final touches while putting on her dress.
I don’t always recommend skipping a first look, but it made sense for Morgan and Marc to wait to see each other until their ceremony. Morgan and Marc had a true first-look moment as Morgan walked down the aisle with her dad at Our Lady of Hope Parish in Ipswich. They had a traditional Catholic ceremony that was beautiful and moving.
Crane Estate Wedding Portrait Photography
There was a break for guests between the ceremony and cocktail hour that allowed us time to do all of their formal portraits at the estate. The Crane Estate itself is stunning! It is grand and elegant, with architectural touches that have a European charm. The property itself is large — from the Great Lawn to the Italian garden to the casino complex. There are several beautiful areas around the property, and we wanted to be sure to document as many as possible.
Morgan and Marc loved the backdrop of the casino complex and the further edge of the Great Lawn for many of their portraits. We had an incredible view back to the estate and rolling greenery! Morgan and Marc each have a large group of close friends. They brought a fun energy to the day and were adventurous enough to go to the peak viewpoint on the great lawn for one last group photo of them all! We finished portraits on the roof of the estate overlooking the bay!
New England Fall Tented Wedding
The tent decor and florals were stunning! The candlelight perfectly set the scene for the New England fall evening that it was. A cream, champagne, and greenery color scheme adorned the space. They included gold chandeliers with greenery that made the sailcloth tent look warm and inviting!
We heard toasts from Morgan’s father, twin sister, and Marc’s brother before moving inside the estate for a night filled with live music and dancing! Congratulations to Morgan and Marc!!
