The Greenery at McKenzie’s Farm Wedding

Madi and Dakin’s wedding at The Greenery at McKenzie’s Farm was simply stunning. These high school sweethearts began as friends but knew there was much more to their relationship as time went on. They planned a wedding day that was intentional, yet unfolded very organically with lots of heartfelt moments alongside their family and friends. They were married over Labor Day Weekend so their wedding date matched Madi’s grandparent’s wedding anniversary, which speaks volumes about this couple!

Modern New Hampshire Wedding Venue

While Madi and Dakin originally pictured a tented wedding, they instantly fell in love with The Greenery at McKenzie’s Farm with its bright white interior and the apple orchard surrounding the venue. While Dakin spent his morning in Portsmouth getting ready with his groomsmen, Madi used the bridal suite The Greenery to get ready. It was so nice to have grounds available to us the entire day! We had plenty of time to just enjoy the day, and not rush, with their closest people. We used the reception space of the venue for some portraits of Madi as she got into her dress and did a few special reveals! It was drenched in natural light!

Madi and Dakin wanted their day to flow naturally and organically. They fully trusted the vendor team’s recommendations for structuring the day, with only one stipulation — that they would see each other for the first time as Madi came down the aisle. So we made sure to make that happen!

Once Madi was dressed and ready for the day, we captured portraits with her bridesmaids and parents. The summery bouquets by Soulflora Floral Design were perfect! They complimented the mauve bridesmaid’s dresses so elegantly. Dakin arrived once Madi was safely tucked out of sight so that we could capture some pre-ceremony portraits of the groomsmen as well!

End of Summer Wedding at The Greenery at McKenzie’s Farm

The floral arrangements by Soulflora Floral Design were absolutely gorgeous! They lined the aisle as Madi made her way to Dakin at the start of their ceremony. They exchanged vows and rings and they made their way back down the aisle as husband and wife! Cocktail hour took place outside on the patio overlooking the apple orchard. We gathered their families and wedding party for a few more portraits with Madi and Dakin! We completed their couple portraits with some time to join guests before their reception began.

Jasmine Rose Events perfectly planned and designed the wedding decor, bringing hues of pink, lots of candlelight, and an abundance of florals to the reception space for the evening’s festivities! It was a gorgeous space to capture. Just as the sun began to set, guests made their way into the reception space for dinner and toasts. There was no shortage of laughter or happy tears before the dance floor officially opened up for the night!
